Scottsdale / Paradise Valley Family YMCA

The Scottsdale/Paradise Valley YMCA opened in 1987. It opened its doors to the community providing a fitness center, free weight, locker rooms, a pool, full-sized basketball gym, racquetball courts, teen center, and two licensed childcare centers (for ages 3-12). It has group fitness classes for all ages, sports, swimming lessons, and an indoor play structure. In 2015 the Scottsdale branch, along with 8 other branches, was awarded a grant by APS for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activities in their after-school program. The Scottsdale/Paradise Valley YMCA is proud to be part of the Valley of the Sun YMCA and its community.

We are more than a gym! We are involved with our community, and regularly offer special events where families and the community can join in, including Community Days, Healthy Kids Day, Christmas Programs, Halloween Programs, Summer Programs, and Spring Programs. Our programs and services promote the Y’s Core Values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. These programs include childcare, youth sports, swimming, camping, gymnastics, teen, family and senior adult programs, health and fitness, and volunteerism.
