THE VALLEY OF THE SUN YMCA’S SCHOOL BREAKS AND OUT OF SCHOOL PROGRAMS FOCUS ON SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL LEARNING AND ACADEMIC ENHANCEMENT. While school is out many parents still have to work. Finding the right childcare option is essential. The Y is here to provide an engaging day for your child. We offer camp experiences during out-of-school days and school breaks. Your child will enjoy their out-of-school days building friendships through group games, STEM projects and more! A focus on social and emotional learning is infused in all activities as caring and qualified staff strive to build confidence and resilience in all youth. We would love to have your child join us for a “day off” they won’t forget! Licensed programs accept DES. The Adventures and Teen programs are NOT licensed by the state of Arizona and operated under AZ revised statute  36-884.6

After you complete these steps below, our Childcare Administration team will contact you within 3 – 5 business days for the next steps to finalize your child’s enrollment.

To ensure your child’s registration is complete and their spot is secured, please complete the following steps:

  • Join the DES Summer Camp Waitlist – Register your child(ren) for the appropriate location.
  • Current DES Authorization from DES – Authorization must be valid for this specific location.
  • Save a Payment Method on File – A card must be on file to cover any remaining copays or late fees. (Even if your copay is $0, this step is required to complete registration.)

All participants will be charged $0.10 per week upon registration. This amount will be applied as a credit toward their first week’s copayment once approved. If a child does not have a copayment, the $0.10 charge per week will be refunded.

After you complete these steps below, our Childcare Administration team will contact you within 3 – 5 business days for the next steps to finalize your child’s enrollment.

To ensure your child’s registration is complete and their spot is secured, please complete the following steps:

  • Join the DES Summer Camp Waitlist – Register your child(ren) for the appropriate location.
  • Current DES Authorization from DES – Authorization must be valid for this specific location.
  • Save a Payment Method on File – A card must be on file to cover any remaining copays or late fees. (Even if your copay is $0, this step is required to complete registration.)

All participants will be charged $0.10 per week upon registration. This amount will be applied as a credit toward their first week’s copayment once approved. If a child does not have a copayment, the $0.10 charge per week will be refunded.
