This Health & Safety Institute ASHI and MEDIC First Aid Child and Babysitting (CABS) training program is designed primarily for pre-teens and teens between the ages of 11 and 15 who are planning to provide babysitting services for young children and infants. The program includes instruction on the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and guidelines on how to recognize and handle problems that may occur. This program is not designed to meet any regulatory requirements for child care providers. This training includes a certification in CPR/AED and First Aid for all ages: Adult, Child, and Infant.

This training includes 3-5 hours of online blended learning videos which will be a requirement for participants to complete in order to receive First Aid and CPR certifications. The instructor will email you the videos before the in-person class.

Upon successful completion of this course, the participant will achieve an American Safety & Health Institute CPR, AED, and First Aid certification. This course teaches lifesaving skills to use in an emergency. Digital pre-course work will be assigned to complete before the course.

Join us for a fun, social space to play tabletop games, meet new people, and enjoy some friendly competition. Please register everyone who will be in attendance so we can prepare the correct amount of materials. Parent’s will need to accompany any children.
