We will be working with all different kinds of mediums and will have alternative activities for kids to engage in. This is an opportunity to allow creativity to shine through guided activities, direct feedback, and instruction! The kids will have the chance to keep their creation or allow it to be displayed in the facility.

The YMCA’s Intro to Theatre class will teach the basic skills of stage presence, stage direction and projection. This will be to help prepare for a play at the end of the season. Theatre runs for 45-minutes and is for ages 6-12 years old. This class will be an introduction to the basics of acting for beginners and will showcase their unique talents.

The YMCA’s Itty Bitty Sports Programs teach the basic skills of the sport through drills and practices with less emphasis on the game. We concentrate more on the fundamentals of the sport. Itty Bitty Sports run 45-minutes and are for ages 2-4 years old. Each participant is required to wear gym shoes and sports attire while equipment will be provided from the Y. Parent involvement with their child is required during class.

The YMCA’s Itty Bitty Tumble program teaches the basic skills of tumbling for children ages 2-4 years old. The focus is on brain development, balance, and coordination and there will be elements of action songs, games, and exploration. Participants should wear comfortable gym clothes and grip socks. Parent involvement with their child is required during class.

This fun and engaging class will introduce our participants to basics of cheer as well as teach them a cheer chant to perform at one of our sport’s game at the end of the  season.

Join us for pumpkin decorating and let your inner Picasso emerge. We will provide the paint, brushes, markers and pumpkins. Parents and grandparents are welcome!

Parents, enjoy a night out knowing your teen will be have fun while being safe at the YMCA. There will be games and activities for friends to enjoy together, and dinner is provided.
